"Unfortunately, I was forced to change my review. I received an email from Lynn Bell who works for State Farm. The context is some kind of "consumer report order" in which they mentioned a person I don't know. I was asked if this person live in the same household and if this individual drives my car at least once a month. This is the very first time I am asked such question from an insurer. I called this office and asked Ms. Bell why would they think I know this person which, in my opinion, is a legitimate question. After all, she was the one sending the eMail. She immediately became defensive, and had the audacity to raise her voice at me. Not only that, but also said to me a person not named in the policy cannot drive my vehicle, and thus suggesting that was the case here. I did not appreciate the tone of the eMail and being threatened that if I didn't respond there would result in "in adverse action." This woman confirmed that have I not responded my policy would have been canceled in 15 days. State Farm had shown its true colors and demonstrated a lack of finesse. It is a shame because my agent Jay is a great person and has a genuine motivation to do right. This woman (whatever it is she does in that office), along with that stupid email, ruined whatever positive perception I once had for this company. Guys, be respectful and remember I am a man, not a boy. You should watch how to speak to people and be very prudent when making false assumptions about a current customer. Things like that can come back to bite you. Also, you are not the only insurer in town, remember that. I hope State Farm gets going with my claim and stopped sticking its nose where it doesn't belong."

I had a very disappointing interaction with Mallory Swinson. Throughout our conversation, I felt interrupted and dismissed, as I was repeatedly talked over and not given the opportunity to finish my thoughts. I eventually had to point out that I have been a loyal customer for years and still was not able to get a full sentence out without being interrupted.
She seemed impatient and unwilling to take accountability, and I felt that my concerns were not being heard. After being with this company for years, I have decided to switch agents because of this experience.
On a positive note, KeiKei, who is part of her team, was excellent. She was patient, understanding, and took the time to listen. I truly appreciate her professionalism and kindness."

Received text updates thru the entire process. Tech used hand-held device and jump was immediate. (Thankfully the non-start happened where we live so not stuck on side of road.) I then drove safe and sound to our service place for next steps. Had tried to get AAA out the night before, but their tech was a no-show—after 25 years of AAA membership.
